The program also emphasized the importance of digital marketing and social media, providing me with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in leveraging digital platforms for marketing purposes.
Furthermore, I had the opportunity to work on real-world marketing projects, which allowed me to apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios, enhancing my problem-solving abilities. Overall, my experience as a Marketing Major at James Madison University equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the dynamic and competitive field of marketing.

I attended Blacksburg High School all four years, participating in many activities and opportunities. I was class VP for my junior and senior years and a National Honor Society member. Rockingham Educational Foundation Inc.
I have been volunteering as a graphic designer for the Rockingham Educational Foundation Inc. (REFI) to create promotional materials for their events and charity gatherings. My role involves designing posters, flyers, and social media graphics to help promote the foundation's activities and raise awareness about their cause. It's incredibly rewarding to use my design skills to support such a meaningful organization and contribute to their mission of supporting education in Rockingham.
I have been volunteering with Rocktown Kitchen, a local restaurant, to help with content creation, redesigning their menu, and taking professional photos. My role involves creating engaging content for their social media platforms, revamping their menu layout, and capturing high-quality images of their dishes. It's been a wonderful opportunity to contribute my skills to support a local business and enhance their visual branding.
